Every week, 30 to 35 people from around 12 countries sit at one table and speak German together. Newcomers and locals, side by side. With €10 you give one person a seat at this table.

All Sprachmut events stay free and open to everyone, whether you donate or not.
What a Sprachcafé needs
For Sprachmut to last, a Sprachcafé needs about €300. We pay for:
- Preparation, games and conversation prompts
- Coordination on site, so nobody sits alone at the edge
- Guidance and training for our volunteers
- Materials like game cards and moderation cards
- Invitations, website and communication
Today we run almost all of this on volunteer time. Your donation makes sure it can stay that way, even as we grow.
We are a non-profit
Sprachmut e.V. is a non-profit association. Up to €300, your bank statement is enough as proof. For higher amounts we are happy to send you a donation receipt. This applies to taxpayers in Germany.
